GIVING...

Letgo001
Good Evening Dear Readers~

Can you believe how fast this summer has gone? I hate to even mention it. My colorful time of the year will be approaching here in Maryland, in a few months. A time of knee socks and wooly-caterpillars. In these past few evenings, as I lock up my studio to return to the house, I listen to the last chirps of night crickets and can smell the beginnings of Autumn leaves. Deep sigh…
Letgo002
It is a good time of the year to reflect back on the past several months.
I am grateful in so many ways for the kindness of all of you. I may not be able to keep ahead of all of my comments and emails at times but please know- I DO read all of them- and you really touch my soul.
Letgo003
So as I was having my morning coffee today; and after the really rough day I had at work on Wednesday, I decided to think of a fun way to give a little of myself to someone- At RANDOM!
Letgo004
I have seen others do this on their blogs and I LOVE playing along! Besides, maybe I can get a few of you to come out from the distance of the Internet and post me a comment!

SO here it goes:
Just leave a comment, saying hello, tell me your favorite artist, or your most coveted art supply that you can’t live without- or whatever you'd like.

You will have until Wednesday night @ 11:59 EST.
I'll have Thomas draw one number, and then whoever’s comment matches that number will get a piece of my HEART! (My resin-heart necklace)

(Please make sure that your email address is with your comment, and that it's correct so that I can contact you about your prize!)

Looking forward to seeing your comments!

P.S. Go listen to this lovely song which conjures feels about this time of the year...(& Makes me think of dear Nina...)

Wow I'd love to win this gorgeous heart! It looks amazing. I found your blog when I signed up for one of your classes at the Art journey retreat in Melbourne next year. I wish I could do them all. so...What Art supply do I covert most? Probably the ones that are the hardest to get here in New Zealand, and at the moment that means Golden paints and gels. I'm sure something else will appear next year that will take over top of the list. (I'm a hoarder at heart)
cheers from NZ

Your work is incredible, Jane. My favorite art supply (today) is beeswax. It's just so beautiful for holding collage together.

Three should be lucky, eh? I wear your phoenix necklace at least twice a week. It resonates with me as does your description of approaching autumn ... my favorite season. All hail the passing of the heat!

=^..^=

Okay fun... I'll play but I still want to see a steampunk bathroom out of you missy.

I couldn't live without Inspiration. We all get it from so many sources, from the obvious and the surprising. :)

I love to read your blog and see what you are up to. My current favorite supplies are the rusty bits that I find in the woods of West Virginia.

Jane I love your necklace and I cant wait to do your class in OZ next year.

Love these necklaces! Just beautiful. I'm sort of in an art funk these days, so my favorite art supply is the computer so I can look at all of the beautiful things everyone else is doing.

Jane, i have been looking in your ETSY store every day to see if you have these hearts for sale- so Please pick me...
Michael De Meng is my favorite artist right now. He just amazes me everyday. My favorite art supply is paint and I adore you and your work.

Hi Jane, love the necklace! My art supply of choice is street signs and I just recently came across this artist on ETSY,she does amazing things! Her name is Margaux Lange.

Hey Jane. This is a treat. And my mother always said 13 was our lucky number...
I'd have to say, as a total self-portrait maniac, my favourite art supply is me. Secondarily, it might be the blank wall in my office. And daylight.

What a gorgeous piece!

My favorite creative thing at the moment is my camera - capturing images to use in fiber art & encase in resin. It's so much fun!

Hey Jane!
Lover-ly! Favorite supplies...marvey ink pads (use them as brushes:), diamond glaze, and golden polymer gel medium....use all of these in everything I do:) Favorite artists...too many to count...lol! A few would be Klimt, Erte, Brom, Fafi, Dave Mckean...I know there are lots more...but my brain is drawing a blank!

How very cool of you. I have a friend who does this on occasion. I think you'd love his work actually. He made an Our Lady of Guadalupe out of postage stamps for an auction once. So very cool. He's harley1456 on LJ.

Anyhoo, my favorite art supply these days is definitely bones. My dad brought me some wild boar tusks he found in the woods. I believe they're going to be incorporated in a necklace. =)

How fun Jane! The only kind of art I do is graphic art (sort of), so the art supply I can't live without is Photoshop. ;) I'm such a dork. Heehee. Does that count?

Hey there! A game. :-)

I love Beethoven for listening to the voices in his head and doing such a great job of writing down what they were saying.

My favorite art supply has always been paint!

Favorite art supply? I can't name just one...But I do LOVE my Caran d'Ache crayons!

This necklace is BEAUTIFUL! Would love to win it!

Hi- love to read your blog and see what great things you are creating. My favorite artist right now is Judy Wise- her work is so alive and colorful and bold. My favorite art supply right now is my watercolor pencils. Have a great weekend!

hey janie - my favorite art supply is a nice cat to keep my company.

Hi Jane,
Add me to the list of people craving your artwork, especially this necklace. My favorite art supply? I have to agree with Caran d'Ache crayons, or black duct tape, or silver metal tape, or? Just too many to choose.

To get to wear a Jane Wynn original---be still, my heart! I love your work, always so fresh, always unique. My favorite art supply? skeletonized and other cool leaves, shells, feathers, stones and other natural finds. My favorite man-made supply: my white gel pen.
