The Odd and the Impressionistic...
So far- not so sick... (Fingers & toes crossed)
The boy- Not so much- as he stayed home from work today.
Today I had lunch with my friend Leigh from my Grad school days. We shared a studio space area. She would put a kettle on and we would have tea and talk about life. It was by far- one of the best times... I look back on those days fondly. I can NOT believe it has been 11 years now that I started Grad school.
What is the best part of those days- it that I am still friends with a lot of them...
Leigh and I are still very close despite time and life getting in the way. I plan to not let this happen- now that I am working out of my studio- Towson (where she teaches) is right around the corner from me and I look forward to stopping by for tea more often. (I think she is going to make me sausage casing underwear!!! HOT DAMN!)
Later tonight- I went back out to finish up some work on those deadlines:
I have more detail work to do tomorrow morning and then I am shipping it out. It has been a productive week despite having such low energy and fighting off being sick. If I was feeling better I am sure I could have gotten more finished- but such is life.
More tomorrow morning.
xxoxx
Hmmm... sausage casing underwear? Wow.
